Zane A. 'Butch' Laubach

WATSONTOWN - Zane A. “Butch” Laubach, 65, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg Butch was born January 13, 1947 in Milton and was the son of the late Zane H. and Doris M. (Linn) Laubach. He was a 1964 Warrior Run High School graduate. He married the Former Sara J. (Gardner) on November 18, 1968 and they celebrated 44 years of marriage together. Butch worked for Jerold Lloyd Construction as a block layer for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Montour Antique tractor club. He enjoyed watching the Yankee’s, Vikings, Nascar and WWE wrestling. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting grass, attending his grandson’s sporting events and John Wayne movies. Most of all he loved his blue grass music. In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Jason A. and Dori Laubach, Cory L. and Sarah Laubach, two grandsons; Aaron Z. and Dylan L. Laubach all of Watsontown, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Harold R. and Libby A. Laubach, of New Columbia, Barry L. Laubach and companion Elaine Fenstamacher of Flordia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Butch was preceded in death by one brother; Brian, and one sister; Bonita. A public viewing will take place 3:00-4:30 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Salvation Army Church, 30 Center Street, Milton, PA 17847, followed by a funeral service at 4:30 p.m. with the Captain Harold R. Laubach, Jr. and Captain Magaly E. Laubach officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or to the North Central Dialysis Clinic, 135 JPM Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N.
