Yvonne Rose (Keesey) Burk

YORK - Yvonne Rose (Keesey) Burk, 74, of Manchester Township, formerly of Windsor, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of Don E. Burk. The couple celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Mrs. Burk was born in Windsor on May 16, 1938, the daughter of the late Oram and Vera (Hilt) Keesey. She worked for The House of Windsor, Danskin in York, was a Real Estate Agent for Yorktowne Realty and worked for Coyne Textiles Services in York. Mrs. Burk attended Bible Baptist Church in York. She was a loving mother, an avid gardener and a great cook. Mrs. Burk leaves a daughter, Kelly Sechrist of York; a grandson, Jeremiah Sechrist of Okaki, Japan; and a sister, Florine Getchel, who resides at Manor Care North in York. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald “Bill” Keesey, Jack Keesey, and Harold Keesey; and a sister, Betty Jane Lanius.
