Yvonne Kay Pasanen

YORK – Yvonne Kay (Hartsoe) Pasanen, 75, passed away at her home on Thursday September 9, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Edward M. Pasanen. Born October 6, 1945, in West Jefferson, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Paul D. and Vada G. (Hardin) Hartsoe. After graduating from Millersville College, she was a teacher in Phoenix, Arizona for 50 years on a native American reservation. She will also be remembered for her love of animals, there wasn’t a time in her life that she did not have a pet. Mrs. Pasanen is survived by two sisters, Karen George, and Elise Hartsoe; and many nieces and nephews.
