Yvonne C. (Mazeall) Guffey

MILTON - Yvonne C. (Mazeall) Guffey, 77, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Milton Nursing and Rehab Center, Milton. She was born on September 10, 1938 in Milton and was the daughter of the late John D. and Lottie Jane (Herrick) Mazeall. On December 31, 1954 Yvonne married the late Leo W. Guffey and they celebrated 60 years of marriage together until his death on August 16, 2015. She worked for and retired from American Home Foods. Yvonne was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lewisburg and enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law; Leo W. Guffey, Jr. of Rockford, IL, Charles W. and Rosa Guffey of Santa Teresa, NM, Rodney W. Guffey of Mount Pocono and Tracy W. and Pauline Guffey of Milton, one daughter; Carol Evans of Burick, four grandchildren; David (Heidi) Evans of New Zealand, Melissa Guffey of Utah, Steven Guffey of Indianna and Jessica Guffey and Zack Smith of Milton and four great grandchildren; Johnny Smith, Hailie Smith, Brennan Guffey and Isabella O’grady. In addition to her parents and husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph and John Mazeall and one sister; Amanda Huffman. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 63 North Franklin Street, Wilkes Barre, PA 17801. A graveside service for Yvonne will take place at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy with the Reverend John Staje, Jr. officiating.
