Yolanda M. (Pagnotto) Poleto

RENOVO - Yolanda Margaret “Peggy” Poleto went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 26, 2011. She was born in Jersey Shore, Pa. on September 10, 1920 to the late Antonio and Maragherita Guariglia Pagnotto. She graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1939 and went on to become a licensed beautician. She also worked at Sylvania in Mill Hall during the war. She married Charles J. Poleto on August 31, 1946 in St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Jersey Shore. They would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 31, 2011. Peggy was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Renovo. She enjoyed dancing in her younger years and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Surviving is her husband, a daughter: Ann (Steve) Kisko, and granddaughter: Stephanie (Eric) Probert, all of Renovo. A grandson: Stephen Charles Kisko of Johnstown and two great grandchildren: Benjamin and Kayla Probert. Also surviving are two brothers: Anthony Pagnotto of Ambler, Pa., Victor (Mary) Pagnotto of Sarasota, Fla. a sister-in-law: Carmel Pagnotto of Jersey Shore and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles, Michael, Robert and Vito Pagnotto and a sister: Mary Pagnotto Rosamilia. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Renovo at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31 with Fr. Charles Ugo celebrating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until Mass time. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Hyner. Flowers will be provided by the family.
