Wilma Dawn (Revis) Hamrick

YORK- Wilma Dawn (Revis) Hamrick, 79, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Aaron W. Hamrick. Cremation services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hamrick was born in Baltimore on April 21, 1930, a daughter of the late Oliver D. Revis and Madeline Walker. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for 15 years at Riverview Nursing Center in Essex, MD. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Sunnyburn, PA. Mrs. Hamrick's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed participating in many of the activities at the Brunswick at Longstown including: bingo, quilting, arts and crafts. Mrs. Hamrick leaves three daughters, J. Lynn Leydecker and her husband Phil of Delta, Marie D. Bleyer and her husband Tim of Dallastown Jeannie Sacilotto and her husband Michael of New Park and; four grandchildren, Shelley Hoffman, Steve Majer, Jr., Heather Jacob, and Erin Tracy; and four great grandchildren, Brandon, Brooke, Bret, and Ryan.
