William W. Achenbach

William W. “Bill” Achenbach, 60, of Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Carol D. Ankrum Achenbach. Born at Andrews Air Force Base, MD on March 15,1961 to the late Orlo Achenbach and Doris J. Raver Achenbach. Mr. Achenbach was employed as a professional truck driver. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Lyndsey Achenbach (Paul Folkenroth) and Jennifer L. Ankrum; a son, Benjamin Achenbach (Amanda); two sisters, Alice Gante and Cheryl Krout (Scott); two brothers, Dwight Achenbach and Ethan Andy Achenbach (Stacie); and five grandchildren, Connor Colby, Grayson Gillis, Kole Gillis, Gage Gillis and Harper Achenbach. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion.
