William V. Kimball

YORK- William V. Kimball, 89, of West Manchester Township, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Wellspan Surgery & Rehab Hospital. He was the husband of M. Jean (Veith) Kimball. The couple celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on August 20, 2020. Services will be private. The service can be viewed starting about 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 on Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. Facebook page. The Reverend Kevin T. Shively will be officiating at the service. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery. A flag folding ceremony will be performed by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Kimball was born in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Foster J. and Bernadetta (Rife) Kimball. He was a self employed Certified Public Accountant, for his business W.V. Kimball for 41 years until he retired in 1996. Mr. Kimball was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, especially at his cabin in Northern PA and spending time with his family. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Kimball leaves three sons, Craig Kimball and his wife Jan of Bainbridge, Brian Kimball of Dover and Mark Kimball and his wife Carol of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Brandon and wife Tracey, Alex, and Adam; and a sister, Jane Hoke. He was preceded in death by a brother, Foster J. Kimball, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
