William S. Wright

TROUT RUN - William S. Wright, 73, died Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Gatehouse. He was born May 17, 1936 in Williamsport the son of Ernest, Sr. and Maude (McClintock) Wright. He worked at the former Bailey Control's retiring in 1999 after 19 years. He was married on May 16, 1986 to the former Carol A. Lynn. William was a member of the Gerry Kehler Orchestra where he played piano and he was also a member of the Studebakers. Surviving are his wife, one son Brad Wright of Williamsport and two daughters Staci L. (Callan) Offnick of Charlotte, NC and Shelley (Tom) Mazzante of S. Williamsport. He is also survived by four step-sons William (Betsy) Stiner of Tannersville, Paul (Patti) Stiner of Gouldsboro, David Stiner of Sedona, AZ, Joseph (Amanda) Stiner of Williamsport also two step-daughters Susan (Michael) Caldera and Tammy (Mike) Gibbs both of Williamsport. Nineteen Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by a brother Ernest H. Wright, Jr. who was killed in 1945 while serving in WWII.
