William R. Scrimshaw

RENOVO - William R. Scrimshaw, 49, died Sunday, Oct., 14, 2018 near Curwensville as a result of a motorcycle accident. He served in the Army from 1995 to 2001 where he received the Army Good Conduct Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Eagles of Renovo. Born September 16, 1969 in Euclid, Ohio he was the son of Bruce Scrimshaw of Renovo and his mother Marsha (Poorman) Scrimshaw of Michigan. He is survivd by two sons, Spencer and Nahkai both of Renovo and two greandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Bruce Scrimshaw of Painesville, OH and a sister Sandra Rice of Salinas, CA. Private Interment will be held at the convience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been set up for his son, Nahkai Scrimshaw, and you can make donations to this fund by sending them to Santander Bank, 364 Erie Ave., Renovo, PA 17764. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
