William R. Keckler, Jr

Lewisberry—William R. Keckler, Jr., 59, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was the husband of Donna R. (Van Dyke) Keckler to whom he was married for 41 years. A Funeral Service will be 2 PM, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry with the Rev. Milton Brown of Yocumtown Church of God officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Fetrow Cemetery. Born March 1, 1953 in Harrisburg, he was a son of William R. Keckler, Sr., and Barbara (Quade) Keckler of New Cumberland. He was employed with Preston Trucking and other various companies as a Truck Driver for over 30 years. He attended Yocumtown Church of God and was an avid horse racing fan. In addition to his wife, William is also survived by two sons, William R. Keckler III, and his wife, Tracey of Lewisberry and Matthew J. Keckler of Marietta; four grandchildren, Samantha, William IV, Joshua and Cailey; four brothers, David, Doug, Jeff and Rob Keckler; two sisters, Cheryl Conley and Jody Seavers; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, West Chocolate Ave, Hershey, Pa 17033.
