William Paul Ream, Sr., 77, of Loganville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Krebs) Ream. The couple was married for 59 years.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, in York. A graveside service be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Pastor Doug DeStephano will be officiating the service.
William was born on June 17, 1945 in York. He was the son of the late Raymond J. and Romaine E. (Miller) Ream. He was a life-long contractor.
Along with his wife, Patricia, he leaves five children, Sharon Houck and husband Bill of Red Lion, William P. Ream, Jr. of Loganville, Bradley E. Ream of Jacobus, Bryan A. Ream and wife Tammy of Seven Valleys, and Tonya M. Rankin and husband Bill of Jacobus. William is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Nichole Wagoner and husband Jesse, Courtney Oldaker and husband Jason, April Whorley and husband Shawn, Adam Ream and wife Jenn, Justin Ream and wife Becky, Ashley Lintner and partner Luke Rebert, Emily Rankin and Kylie Ferguson. William is also survived by his great grandchildren, Jesse Jr., Brynn, Sophia, Hailee, Libertie, Tanner, Madison, Dominic, Lilie, Zoey, Mackenzie, Riley, Mason, Aubrey, Kendall, Paislee, Oakleigh, Hadlee, and Camden. He is survived by three sisters, Joanne King and her husband Burnell, Sandy Ream, and Linda Degroft. He was preceded in death by a sister Betty and three brothers James, Terry, and Barry.
William was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. He was also a member of York County Fire Fighters Association, a volunteer driver at Jacobus Lions Ambulance and volunteered at Loganville Fire Company. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In his earlier years, William enjoyed playing baseball and softball, bowling and hunting.
