RED LION - William Michael “Bill” Miller, 67, of Windsor Township, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of JoAnn (Bricker) Miller. The couple celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Arlington Evangelical Congregational Church, 585 Lombard Rd. in Red Lion with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. His pastor, The Reverend Sterling Trimmer will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery in Windsor. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Bill was born in York on May 16, 1947, the son of Philip M. and Sara (Nuss) Miller. He retired from United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 214. He had a 40 year career in construction starting at Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant and later worked for R.S. Noonan, where he was the Project Superintendant of the Kellogg Food Plant in Lancaster. He was a PA Registered Land Surveyor and a tax preparer. Bill was a member of Arlington EC Church in Red Lion, where he was a former trustee and treasurer and instrumental in planning and building the church. He was a 1965 graduate of West York High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. Bill leaves a son, Jayson W. Miller and wife of Red Lion; a daughter, Shelby J. Faellenbacher and husband of Berlin Germany; four grandchildren, Tyler Miller and Florian, Victoria, and Rebecca Faellenbacher; and two sisters, Phyllis Smith of Spring Grove and Margaret Anthony of South Carolina. Memorial contributions may be made to Arlington EC Church, 585 Lombard Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356.
