William M. Shue

YORK—William M. Shue, 86, passed away Tuesday, June 04, 2024 at York Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born September 21, 1937 in York, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Blanche (Axe) Shue.

He was employed with Tioga Textiles Associates for many years where he maintained and fixed textiles looms. Following his employment with Tioga Textiles, he worked at Borg Warner in their maintenance department.

A United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Prince Athletic Association and the B D Social Club.

Mr. Shue is survived by his son, Edgar C. Shue and his wife, Michelle of Carlisle; seven grandchildren, Cheyanne Shue, Kristin Perry, Andrew Shue, Brenda Wible, Lucas Shue, Helen Shue and Ezra Shue; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Charlene. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 50 E. King Street, York, Pa 17401.
