William Lewis Lou" Neal

Dallastown- William Lewis "Lou" Neal, 84, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at his home. He had just observed his 84th birthday. He was the husband of the late E. Elizabeth (Crowther) Neal who died in 1993. He was the companion of Ethel E. Boyer with whom he spent ten wonderful years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2008 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 311 Haines Road, York with the Rev. Charles Holtzinger officiating. A viewing will be held 4-6:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mr. Neal was born September 29, 1924 in Bridgeton, PA the son of the late William Thomas and Edna Mae (Skelton) Neal. He was a 1941 graduate of Highland High School in MD. Mr. Neal was employed as a sheet metal fabricator for Gichner Shelter Systems in Dallastown until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in York. Mr. Neal leaves seven children; Patricia L. Potter of Hershey, William L. Neal, Jr. and wife Helen of Jacobus; Joseph H. Neal and wife, Candie of McKinney, TX, Stephen C. Neal and wife Carol of Stewartstown, James E. Neal and wife Sandi of York, Debra N. Campbell and husband Tim of Dallastown, and Dr. Tommy L. Neal and partner Pat Jones of Madison, WI. He also leaves 13 grandchildren; Tammy, Benjamin, Christopher, Gabriel, Jody, Brian, Stevie, Stephanie, Michael, Shawn, Matthew, Joshua and TJ; six great grandchildren; Nicholas, Tara, Jennifer, Stephen, Brooke, and Angelina. Mr. Neal was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Harry; and an infant sister, Helen Neal. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Elizabeth C.
