William John Bowley

YORK- William John “Billy” Bowley, 57, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was the husband of Deborah R. (Sipe) Bowley. The couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on August 24th. A visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A celebration of life tribute service will be at 2 p.m. with Certified Celebrant Betty M. Frey officiating. Born on August 27, 1958 in Laurel, MD he was a son of the late William H. and Betty L. (Keller) Bowley. Billy worked construction for W. Craig Adams Contractor, Inc. for 25 years. Along with his wife, Deborah, Billy is survived by four brothers, Edward Paul Bowley and his wife, Debbie of Laurel, MD, Daniel Joseph Bowley and his wife, Bonnie of Romney, WV, Larry Lee Bowley and his wife, Marion of Gainesville, VA and Mark Anthony Bowley and his wife, Tammy of Laurel, MD; nine nieces; three nephews; five great nieces; and six great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Michael Bowley.
