William J. Bill" Neuman, Sr.

YOE - William J. "Bill" Neuman, Sr., passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Kay N. (Michael) Neuman whom he married on May 12, 1964. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Suburban Memorial Gardens with full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born October 28, 1940 in York a son of the late George W. Neuman, Sr. and the late Doris L. (Sheffer) Neuman, he retired from Labor's Local 1180. Mr. Neuman enjoyed vacationing and camping with his family, spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of Pleasureville American Legion, Red Lion VFW, and Viking Athletic Assoc. Mr. Neuman was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. In addition to his wife, Mr. Neuman is survived by a daughter, Kelley L. and husband Bill Mathias of York; four grandchildren, Billy and Tia Mathias, and Branden and Kyle Fischer; a brother, George W. Neuman, Jr. of York; two aunts, Norma Neuman of Red Lion and Barbara Neuman of San Springs, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, William J.
