William E. Harvey

RED LION- William E. Harvey, 74, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. He was the husband of Joan M. (Wilson) Harvey.

Mr. Harvey was born in York on April 13, 1949, the son of the late Norma (Harvey) Bowman.

William attended East Side Bible Church and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving in the Vietnam war from 1969-1970.

He leaves a son David Harvey of York and his fiancé, Courtney Templeton of Lancaster; two sisters, Joyce Warner of Georgia and Angie Hitchcock of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Sue Harvey.

Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Bible Church, 1035 Adams Rd., Wrightsville, PA 17368.

Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
