William E. "Erma" Randle, Sr.

YORK- William E. “Erma” Randle, Sr., 77, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at First Church of God, 507 Vander Ave., York, PA 17403 with the Reverend Glenn Detter officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on June 16, 1941 in York, he was the son of the late John H. and Dorothy M. (Sprenkle) Randle. William was a 1960 graduate of William Penn High School. He was a handyman at Smith Village Furniture. Mr. Randle was a member of First Church of God where he volunteered and fixed various needed repairs. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Randle is survived by his son, William Randle, Jr. and his wife, Carol Kreider of Lancaster; two sisters Wanda Kottmyer of Manchester Twp. and Sharon Randle of York; daughter in law, Arlene Randle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Randle.
