William E. 'Bill' Mundis

RED LION – William E. “Bill” Mundis, 79, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lois C. (O’Keefe) Mundis to whom he was married for 34 years. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2013 in Shrewsbury Geisey Cemetery, South Highland Drive, Shrewsbury, PA 17361. Full military rites will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born September 4, 1934 in Red Lion a son of the late Claude H. and Alice Mae (McSherry) Mundis, he retired from Dentsply, Intl. after 34 years of service. Mr. Mundis was a member of Red Lion Zion U.M. Church and Dentsply 25 yr. club. Bill enjoyed being a Ham radio operator and spending time with his family. He was a US Army veteran of The Korean War. Mr. Mundis is survived by two sons, Steven G. and wife Olivia Mundis of Red Lion and Bradley S. Mundis and his fiancé, Christa Bushnell of Chardon, OH; five grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Clark and Karen Chrismer both of York; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Bowles.
