William E. 'Bill' Dershem

NEW COLUMBIA - William E. Bill Dershem, 63, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at SUN Home Hospice Center, Sunbury. William was born on March 15, 1948 in Lewisburg, and was the son of the late Simon P. and Grace (Michael) Dershem. William was married to the late Angela K. (Schaeffer) for 37 years before her death on November 29, 2007. He was a former employee of the Milton Shoe Factory and Crest Homes. He enjoyed working on cars and coaching little league baseball and football. William is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Timothy E. Tim and Bernadette Dershem of New Columbia, one daughter and son-in-law; Tonia S. and Mark Arnold of Watsontown, four grandchildren; Brock M. Dershem of New Columbia, Haden M. Arnold and Morgan K. Arnold, both of Watsontown and Hayleigh N. Dershem of New Columbia and several siblings. In keeping with Williams wishes, there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
