William D. Marshall

LOCK HAVEN - William D. "Bill " Marshall, age 52, died at Jersey Shore Hospital on Saturday, July 24, 2010. He was born in Lock Haven on Oct. 15, 1957, a son of the late Wayne and Alice (Neff) Marshall. Bill worked as a laborer for Haven Homes Co., enjoyed fishing, and was a constant worker, always involved in some project. On January 27, 1976, he married the former Diane L. Savrock, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter: Wendy Wooding of Jersey Shore, brother: Jerry Marshall of Lock Haven, sisters: Susan Herr of Snowshoe, Deb Irvin, Karen Miller, and Gladys Marshall, all of Lock Haven. Bill has several nieces and nephews and was preceded by a brother: Harry Marshall. In accordance with Bill's wishes there will be no public visitation or service. Private interment will take place in Rest Haven Memorial Park at the family's convenience. Memorials are requested to the S.P.C.A. in his memory. Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, is in charge of the arrangements.
