William Cilifford Morrison Jr.

William C. Morrison, Jr. age 84, Milton, PA died October 7, 2010, at home. Born February 12, 1926, in East Chillisquaque Township, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jennie M. (Rine) and William Clifford Morrison, Sr. He was married June 26, 1948, to the former Mary Helen Huff in Vanderveer Park Methodist Church, Brooklyn, New York, by the Reverend John D. Atkins. Mary and Clifford were married for 60 years until the passing of his wife on September 10, 2008. He was a graduate of Milton High School in 1944 and spent most of his life in the Milton area. Mr. Morrison was a World War II Army veteran and served in Italy, participating in the North Apennines and Po Valley Campaigns. Upon discharge from the service in 1946, he resided in Brooklyn, NY. For four years and graduated from Merchants & Bankers Business School and Walter Harvey Junior College, both located in New York City. He retired in 1987 as purchasing agent for the former Milton Manufacturing Company. enjoyed his family, friends, traveling, reading and hunting. He was a member of the AARP, Antlers Club, American Legion, Dewey Hollow Gun Club and a life member of the Bethany United Methodist Church. He is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law and one son and daughter-in-law: Linda Schepis of Danville, Patricia Olson of North Carolina, Joan and Herman Rockey of Watsontown and Thomas and Jamie Morrison of Milton. Seven grandchildren: Nicholas and Daniel Schepis, Angela and Alicia Olson, Eric Rockey and Thomas and Bryon Morrison. Also, one great granddaughter: Khylei Morrison. Memorials: Respecting the wishes of the deceased, in lieu of flowers the family suggests you do a random act of kindness for a stranger or a memorial contribution to Bethany United Methodist Church. Cemetery: Interment will follow at the Milton Cemetery. Visitation: There will be a public viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Service: The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 11 2010 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 North Front Street Milton. The Reverend Will Hallman, officiating.
