DOUGLASSVILLE- William Randolph Carbaugh, 90, formerly of Glen Rock, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Keystone Villa @ Douglassville. He was the husband of the late Shirley S. (Sinclair) Carbaugh.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Grace Church-Shrewsbury, 473 Plank Rd. in New Freedom, PA. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mr. Carbaugh was born in Strasburg, VA on September 20, 1934, the son of the late Frederick and Virginia (Lemley) Carbaugh. He retired in 1995 from Conrail, where he was a railroad conductor.
He was a member of Grace Church-Shrewsbury, where he performed property care in their garden and other areas of the church. He enjoyed houseboating, fishing, hunting, traveling, and farming. He served in the US Army reserves.
Mr. Carbaugh leaves a son, Shawn W. Carbaugh and his wife Stacey of Glen Rock; two daughters, Dawn A. Carbaugh and her wife Chere of Douglassville and Wenona N. Troyer and her husband Edward of Felton; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a great, great granddaughter.
