William B. Orner

MILTON - William B. Orner, 76, formerly of Allentown, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Kramm Health and Rehab, Milton. He was born on November 28, 1937 in Milton and was the son of the late William E. and Grace K (Cooper) Orner. William graduated from Williamsport High School Class of 1956. He served in the United States Army, the United States Air Force and then the United States Air Force Reserves. William worked for Chef Boyardee in the engineering department for forty years and retired in 2000. He attended White Deer Baptist Church, Allenwood. William enjoyed Corvette cars, racing, fishing, boating, motorcycles and going to Canada when he was younger. William is survived by one daughter; Carol Glover, two grandchildren; Kimberly and Jasmine Glover all of Montoursville, one sister and brother-in-law; Doris M. and Victor H. Adams of New Columbia and three nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by one brother; Harold Cooper. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association - Northeastern Region, 71 N. Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 or to a charity of one's choice. All services will be held privately at the convenience to the family. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
