William A. Taylor, Jr.

YORK- William A. Taylor, Jr., 85, passed away on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at his residence. Services for Mr. Taylor are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Taylor was born on March 7, 1926 in York,a son of the late William A. and Grace (Aldinger) Taylor, Sr. He worked at CertainTeed Corporation in York. Mr. Taylor served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Taylor is survived by a brother, Jack R. Taylor and his wife, Mary of York; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail N., York, PA 17406.
