William A. 'Bill' Rehn

WILKES-BARRE-William Bill A. Rehn, 82, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday, April 4, at Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born on June 14, 1928, Bill was a son of the late William N. and Ruth L. (George) Rehn. Bill spent most of his life doing what he loved, which was baking. He retired from Old River Road Bakery in 1997. Bill was a member of Albright United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. He also had a passion for fishing, bus trips to Atlantic City, and spending time with his wonderful grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Rick Paltanavich and grandsons, Craig Paltanavich and Keifer Garnett-Mallarkey. Left to cherish Bill\'s memory is his loving wife of over 58 years, Marie (Glaser) Rehn; daughters, Donna (Arthur) Allen, Diane Garnett, Delta (Michael) Shoback; grandchildren, Jaclyn (Michael) Davis, Kursten (Sunday) Nah, Jason (Amber) Paltanavich, Jessica Paltanavich, Collin and Alek Krokos,; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Carol) Rehn; sister, Cora (Almon) Long; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral service will be handled by Kniffen O\'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 465 S. Main St. on Thursday at 10 am. Deacon Bradigan will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary\'s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
