Wilda J. (Perry) Laughman

DOVER- Wilda J. (Perry) Laughman, 94, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Country Meadows, Trolley Rd. She was the wife of the late Ervin E. Laughman.

Services for Mrs. Laughman will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on August 7, 1929 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Vera I. (Kammerer) Perry. Wilda was a graduate of Dover High School and Thompson College. She retired from West York School District where she worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and was also a School Board Secretary.

Mrs. Laughman was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Order of Eastern Star, YCPASR and PASR.

Wilda is survived by her son, Gregory E. Laughman and his wife, Sandra of Dover; four grandchildren, Clifton Laughman, Kevin Laughman, Ashley Kress and Linsey Kress; four great grandchildren, Sydney, Michael, Jace and Kaidyn; three sisters, Joy Myers, Mary Jones and Renee Montag; and two brothers, Pedro Perry and David Perry. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan L. Brillhart; sister, Andrea Whare; and two brothers, John Perry and George Perry.
