Wilbert Raymond Wagner, Jr.

DOVER – Wilbert Raymond Wagner, Jr., 90, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Autumn House West. He was the husband of the late Dora A. (Ehrhart) Wagner and the late Clara (Knisley) Wagner. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Major Bessie Babbitt of The Salvation Army officiating. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. All attendees are asked to wear masks and PA DOH Covid guidelines will be followed. Born August 28, 1930 in York, a son of the late Florence (Eckenrode) and Wilbert R. Wagner, Sr.; he had retired from Yorktowne Paper Mill. Mr. Wagner is survived by three sons, Kenneth R. and wife Colleen Wagner of Dover, Wayne B. and wife Pamela Wagner of Dover and Timothy M. and wife Lorraine Wagner of Craley; two daughters, Mary J. and husband Paul Auman of York and Martha J. and husband Bob Pretorius of Mertztown, Berks Co.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and three sisters, Joan, Nancy and Ruth. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy; and four sisters, Betty, Florence, Kathleen and Phyllis.
