New Columbia Weldon D. Fausey, 77 of passed away Friday, December 28 2007 at Evangelical Community Hospital where he was a patient one week. He was born in Muncy on October 11, 1930 he was the son of the late Julius & Ruth (Ritter) Fausey. Weldon was married on June 9, 1964 to the former Shirley A. Smith they recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary together. He as owner/operator of Fausey's Repair Shop from 1973 - 2006. Earlier he worked at the former Montgomery Mills. Weldon was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He played and enjoyed bluegrass music. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his loving wife One daughter Shelly Fausey of Seattle, WA One grandson Kyle Three step-grandchildren Matthew, Luke and Andy Four Step great-grandchildren One brother Marlin Fausey of South Williamsport One sister Kay Aungst of Williamsport, MD He was preceded in death by a step-daughter Debbie Jean Waltman and a step-son Charles F. Waltman, Jr. The funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Friendship Baptist Church, 10 Voris Lane, Watsontown, PA 17777 Friends and relatives will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors will be at McEwensville Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Friendship Baptist Church in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
