Wayne W. Hill, Jr.

Wayne W. Hill, Jr. Wayne W. Hill, Jr., 58, of 610 Jefferson Street, Pottsville, went to be with the lord peacefully on Tuesday evening at Manor Care, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on September 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Wayne W. Hill, Sr. and Lorraine Lavenburg Hill, of Pottsville. He was a 1967 graduate of Pottsville High School. He was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Life member of the Greenwood Hill Hose Co., and he coached for many years for Rotary Little League, all of Pottsville. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wayne Hill; his sister, Brenda Mae Hill; his father-in-law, Vernon Shipe. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patti A. Shipe Hill, of Pottsville; his son, Matthew Hill, at home; his daughter, McKayla Hill, at home; his brother, Donald Hill, of Reading; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Shipe, Port Carbon; his Godchildren, Donny Hill, OK and Jennifer Shipe, Valley View; his Godfather, Joseph Negrello, Pottsville; his pets, Peppy, Molly and Tiggy; his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many special friends.
