Wayne E. Rudy

Dover—Wayne E. Rudy, 61, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was the husband of Debra L. (Roblyer) Rudy to whom he was married for 19 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry with Pastor Dan Warner officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery—Camp Hill. Born December 18, 1954 in Camp Hill, he was a son of the late Chester A. and Helen M. (Deckman) Rudy. He was employed as a steelworker with the United Steelworkers Union—Local 1688 for 40 years until his retirement in 2013. A member of Antioch 1611 Baptist Church in Stewartstown, he was also a member of the Conewago Club. He enjoyed playing pool at Pub On the Trail, golfing and was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan. In addition to his wife, Mr. Rudy is also survived by six children, Courtney Escobar, Gary Rudy, Jessica May, Lee May, Jennifer May and Brandy Petrone; 30 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, three brothers, Chester Rudy, David Rudy and Donald Rudy; one sister, Lori Rudy and nieces and nephews.
