Wayne Allen Sellers

RED LION – Wayne Allen Sellers, 83, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the husband of Sandra Frey-Sellers with whom he celebrated 32 years of marriage.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 2-3:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors presented by the US Navy.

Born December 8, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, Lebanon Co.; a son of the late John David and Lena Mae (Funk) Sellers, he was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School. Wayne then served in the US Navy until his honorable discharge in 1961. Mr. Sellers worked at AMF, Caterpillar, and retired from Graham Engineering. In retirement, Wayne was a driver for Country Meadows. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and going to his camp in Waterville, PA or going to the mountains.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Sellers is survived by a son, Derek F. Sellers of Dallastown; a daughter, Robin S. Seifert and husband Mark of Mt. Wolf; two stepsons, Randy Frey and wife Melissa of Dallastown and Craig Frey of York; a stepdaughter, Sherry Burks and husband Roger of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Hayden and Laney Seifert; four step grandchildren, David, Devon and Zachary Frey, and Shawn Burks; and a step great granddaughter, Presley Mae Burks; two brothers, Richard Sellers of Lebanon and Warren Sellers of Annville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Sellers.
