Warren R. Copenhaver

Lewisberry—Warren R. Copenhaver, 90, died Tuesday, April 27, 2014 at his residence in Fairview Township. He was the husband of the late Jean W. (Spangler) Copenhaver with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. A Graveside Service will be 1 PM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. Military honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born October 9, 1923 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late George S. and S. Catherine (Rhine) Copenhaver. He was employed L.B. Smith Ford for 40 years as a auto mechanic until his retirement in 1987. He enjoyed hunting and was a charter member of Phantom Bear Camp in Clearfield Co. He also enjoyed fishing, especially the fishing trips with his wife to Perch River in Canada. Mr. Copenhaver is survived by one brother, Carl G. Copenhaver of Marysville and nieces and nephews.
