Warren E. Mejo, Sr

Felton—Warren E. Mejo, Sr., 78, died Wednesday, June 2, 2015 at his residence in Chanceford Township. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Y. (Heidrich) Mejo to whom he was married for 55 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday and from 9-10 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Pine Lawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, New York, 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2015. Born March 17, 1937 in Oceanside, New York, he was the son of the late Ernest O. and Anna E. (Christman) Mejo. He was employed as an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers—Local 25 for 35 years until his retirement in 1995. He was also a member of the Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Department and their Benevolent Assoc., located in Nassau County, New York. Mr. Mejo is survived by two sons, Michael Mejo of Williamsburg, VA and Warren Mejo, Jr. and his wife, Regina of Felton; one daughter, Donna Finn of Red Lion; six grandchildren, Shannon, Christopher, Hope, Matthew, Michele and Dylan and six great grandchildren, Bryan, Alexis, Nikolai, Amelie, Jaska and Ella.
