Wanda Mae (Tilburg) Toner, 88 a former resident of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore. She was born November 23, 1920 in Washington, DC the daughter of Warden L. & Belle (Edwards) Tilburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry D. Toner in 1979. Mrs. Toner was employed as a waitress for Davis Restaurant and also worked for Cobbler Shoe Factory and Woolrich. She was Methodist by faith. Wanda was raised in Emporium by her grandparents. Surviving are one son Roy D. (Monette) Toner of Woolrich and one daughter Darlene (Archie) Martin of Lock Haven. Three grandchildren (Brooke Williams, Robin Martin & Kellene Beaver) also two great grandchildren (Cody Beaver & Sarah Beaver) A family graveside service will be held at Noon, Friday, July 17, 2009 at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the S.P.C.A., 33 Mill Hill Rd., Lock Haven. Arrangements are under the direction of the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.
