Wanda Jean (Craig) Lee

SPRINGFIELD- Wanda Jean (Craig) Lee, 80, of Springfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at her home. She was the loving wife of Theodore E. "Ted" Lee. The couple married on July 1, 1955 and had 52 happy years together. Funeral services and burial in Hillside Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of Jean's family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Jean was born on July 21, 1927 in Big Pond, PA. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Gladys A. (Grace) Craig. Jean graduated from Troy High School, class of 1946. She worked for the Remington-Rand Corp. for 28 years. Jean was a life member of the Big Pond United Methodist Church, and was a member of the 39er's Club. To Jean, family was the most important thing in the world. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook and baker; no one could a better German chocolate cake than Jean could. Her family will sadly miss Jean. They include her husband Ted, her sons: Richard (Barbara) Craig of Owego, NY and Steven (Annette) Lee of Springfield, PA, her daughter Penny (Joe) Kenyon of Springfield, PA, her grandchildren: Jon (Summer) Craig, Michael Craig, Kendra (Kip) Seaver, Danielle (Rob) Congdon, Christopher Lee, Jessica Lee, Eric (Greta) Kenyon, Jason Kenyon and friend Emily Harkness, her great grandchildren: Saydi, Skie, Cameron, Stone, Chad, and a soon to be expected great grandson. Her family also includes her brother Robert (Doris Ann) Craig of Milan, PA, her sister Arlene Snedicor of Athens, PA, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents, her brothers: Stewart and Joe Craig, and her sisters: Wilma Stewart and Mary Wilcox. The family has asked that to honor Jean's memory, memorial contributions may be make to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
