FELTON – Walter K. Boileau, 87, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Nancy L. (Wieand) Boileau for 60 years, and the cherished father of Steven Boileau of Forest, VA, and Kendra Boileau of State College, PA. Walter was born on November 25, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Walter K. and Edwina (Coughlin) Boileau. A veteran of the US Airforce, Walter was a commercial pilot for United Airlines for 29 years until his retirement. He was a lifelong model railroader, cat lover, avid reader of history, and sailor on the Chesapeake Bay. In his retirement, he piloted his small airplane and took up model engine building. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and for being an inspiration to his children. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanne Clute and Betty Lou Mosley, and is survived by his wife and two children. Services for Mr. Boileau are private at the convenience of the family and are being arranged by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc.
