Walter J. Ozoroski

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Walter J. Ozoroski, 94, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Manor Care Health Systems, South. He was the husband of the late Annunzia "Nancy" (Noviello) Ozoroski who passed away on July 25, 2006. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 12:30-2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the Allen & Redman Funeral Home, Inc. 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA. The mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, August 13th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 West Central Avenue, South Williamsport with the Reverend Father Michael Zipay officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Resurrection Cemetery in Montoursville, PA. Walter was born on November 21, 1913 in Everson, PA, the son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Wahuta) Ozoroski. Walter worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps. from December of 1930 till 1940. He then worked for Bethlehem Steel in Williamsport as a Wire Drawer until his retirement. Walter was a faithful member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and was also an associate of White Deer Golf League for 30 years. Walter is survived by his four daughters; Agnes E. Frankfurter of Charlottesville, VA, Gerry Twigg of South Williamsport, PA, Dorothy J. Decker of Middleburg, FL, and Ann Marie Ozoroski of Selinsgrove, PA, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, sisters: Dorothy Byers of Mount Pleasant, PA, and Ann Balcerek of Ohio, and brother Mike Ozoroski of Connellsville, PA. His parents and wife, his sisters Stella and Betty, and his brothers John, Stanley, and Joseph predecease Walter. Memorial contributions may be made in Walter's memory to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 West Central Avenue, South Williamsport, PA 17702.
