W. Dale Rowland

Delta, PA- W. Dale Rowland, 73, of Peach Bottom Township, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Barwick) Rowland. The couple was married in Whitehall, MD and celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on February 1, 2015. Dale was born in Little Britain, Lancaster County, PA on March 21, 1942, the son of the late Roby Alan and Fannie Mae (Eller) Rowland. He retired after 35 years for Ha. Co. Department of Highways where he was a dedicated worker. He enjoyed NASCAR and Jeep racing. He was proud of his biggest accomplishment which was building his house. Dale leaves a son, Bill Rowland; two daughters, Teresa Moore and Angie Rowland; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Jared, Jena, Kiersten, Mikayla, Avery, and Paxton; a great granddaughter, Jaycee; and a sister, Catherine Jones. Two brothers had preceded him in death, Dean and Clarence Rowland. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Humane Society, 2208 Connolly Rd., Fallston, MD 21047. Services will be private.
