Vivian (Hershner) Manifold

NEW PARK- Vivian (Hershner) Manifold, 84, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Gordon W. Manifold, to whom she was married for 47 years. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Round Hill Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 7362 Church Rd., Felton with her pastor, Dr. David D. Feiser officiating. A viewing will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Born on September 21, 1933 in York, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Florence E.C. (Keesey) Hershner. Vivian was an Administrative Assistant at The Manufacture’s Association of South Central PA for 47 years until her retirement in 1998. Mrs. Manifold was a lifelong member of Round Hill Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The Church and its music were central throughout her life and brought her great joy. She was an organist and choir director for many years in which she was able to share her love of music with others. She and her husband were also members of The Friendship Four Gospel Quartet whose mission was to spread God's love through music. In addition to her musical interests, Vivian also served as church treasurer, a member of the East Hopewell Township Election Board and a member of the Round Hill Women's Association. Mrs. Manifold is survived by one son, Stephen G. Manifold, MD and wife, Angela of Dover, DE; one daughter, Sharon E. Minor and husband, Eric of New Park; six grandchildren, Jacob Minor, Lewis Minor, Garrett Minor, Ashley Manifold, Ally Manifold and Sierra Manifold; and one sister, Clara Weigard of Mechanicsburg.
