Virginia Lee Truvillion

FORREST CITY, AR – Virginia Lee Truvillion, 59, formerly of York, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR. She was the wife of Allen Mabry.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Reverend J'Quan McGhee officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Born January 5, 1964 in York, a daughter of Augustus Truvillion of Cherry Hill, MD and the late Ethel D. (Williams) Truvillion, she was a 1982 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Over the years, Virginia was a housekeeper at York Hospital, Margaret E. Moul Home, Comfort Inn and was a server at the Waffle House. Mrs. Truvillion enjoyed word puzzles, playing cards and chess, eating at her favorite restaurants, shopping and spending quality time with her husband. Viriginia held a strong belief in the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Truvillion is survived by 10 siblings, James T. Williams of Harrisburg, L.A. Truvillion, Gilbert Brown, Peggy Ann Williams, Judy Truvillion, Tonya Truvillion and Theresa Brown all of York, Virginia Truvillion of Mississippi, and Brandon and Quetta Truvillion both of Baltimore; a host nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Daiquan Mabry; sister, Sheila Truvillion; and a nephew, L.A. Truvillion.
