Virginia K. (Koller) Frisby

SHILOH Virginia K. (Koller) Frisby, 92, of Shiloh, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, York. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Frisby, Jr. who died March 3, 2012 and to whom she had been married for 63 years at the time of his passing. A celebration of life service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2nd at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor, the Rev. Kevin T. Shively officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. Mrs. Frisby was born June 5, 1924, in York. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Anena B. (Markel) Koller. She was a 1943 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and later graduated from Edgewood Park Women’s College in Briarcliff Manor, New York where she earned her degree in Merchandising. A loving and devoted homemaker, she was also a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York, the Purple Heart Auxiliary, and was a former member of The Young Women’s Club of York. Mrs. Frisby is survived by her son, Robert W. Frisby and wife, Joanne S. of York; her two daughters, Ginger F. Meisenhelder and husband, Dan of Melfa, VA and Christina F. Anthony and husband, Thomas of York; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Anena F. Goodman; a grandson, Langon Robert Goodman; her brother, William H. Koller, Jr.; and her sister, Arlene Wagner.
