Violet H. Watson

Jersey Shore - Violet H. "Honey" Watson, 87 of Antes Fort, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore. She was born February 24, 1921 in Linden the daughter of Walter & Esther (Confair) Yonkin. She was married to Howard W. Watson who died in 2005. Mrs. Watson was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Elks Lodge, Moose, F.O.E. and V.F.W. of Jersey Shore. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving are one son Brion (Roseanne) Watson of Lewisburg also two daughters Linda (Fred) Barone of Williamsport, Nancy (Steve) Waldman of Collomsville and one step-daughter Barbara Lockwood of Ohio. Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren She is survived by one brother Raymond Younkin of Linden and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-ceded in death by one sister Eleanor Hatalski and two brothers Clyde and Lester. The funeral service will be held 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be at Twin Hills Memorial Park. The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
