Viola R. (Bowmaster) Embick

JERSEY SHORE - Viola R. (Bowmaster) Embick, 88, passed away, Monday morning, February 18, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1924 in Lock Haven the daughter of the late Clyde and Amanda (Biddle) Bowmaster. Viola was married to Ralph R. Embick who died in 1977. She worked for West Pharmaceutical Company for 22 years retiring in 1996. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons Ralph C. (Mary) Embick of Linden, Stephen (Josephine) Embick of Jersey Shore and Terry (Theresa) Embick of Williamsport also three daughters Barbara (John) Stevenson of Jersey Shore, Peggie (Thomas) Baker and Karla Embick both of Lock Haven. 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. One brother Ralph “Bucky: Bowmaster of Richmond, VA. Viola was preceded in death by a son Charles “Chuck” Embick in 2004 and two sisters Beatrice Yarnell and Peggie Lowe. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
