Viola [King] Miller

RED LION - Viola [King] Miller, 102, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Miller. A private graveside service will be held in Red Lion Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born January 14, 1905 in Manchester, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Bertha [Schroll] King. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Miller worked as a switchboard operator for the original Red Lion telephone exchange. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter, Marilyn M. and husband Larry Reiber of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Lisa Gemmill and Lee Bender; and three great grandchildren, Jamie and Judd Gemmill, and Emily Bender. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith King; and two brothers, Elwood and John King. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany U.M. Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion, PA 17356.
