Viola E. Bupp

YORK- Viola E. "Betty" (Clark) Bupp, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services South in York. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Bupp. A Graveside service will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Mt. Rose Cemetery with Pastor Joel Duttera officiating. Procession will form at the main gate of cemetery at 10:45 AM. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Bupp was born on October 18, 1924 in Pittsburgh to the late Frank and Viola (Harris) Clark. She retired from Triumph Hosiery (Danskin) in York and then worked for the Salvation Army and K-Mart and in East York. She was a member of the York VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Bupp is survived by two daughters, Pat Bowman and her husband Ken of Glen Rock and Candy Mann and her husband Larry of New Cumberland; a son, Joey Bupp; five grandchildren, Kenny Bowman, Tina Love, Alicia Hake, Joey Bupp, and Corey Bupp; three great grandchildren, Charles Way, III, Zachary Way, and Dalton Hake; and two great great grandchildren, Charles Way, IV and Jayden Way.
