Victor Neal Griffith

Victor Neal Griffith, 57, died on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Locklear) Griffith to whom he was married for 33 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Don Wolabaugh officiating. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, MD 21224. Born on July 9, 1964 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Jesse and Barbara (Gilmore) Griffith. Victor worked at Baltimore Gas & Electric, now Exelon for 28 years. Mr. Griffith was a member of Harvest Chapel in Abbottstown for 17 years. He loved being at home where he could enjoy cooking and listening to music. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Patricia, Victor is survived by his son, Nathaniel Griffith of Hanover; daughter, Victoria Walter and her husband, Jesse of Hanover; brother, Joe Griffith of Glen Rock; three sisters, Barbara Scheminant of Aberdeen, MD, Susan Pusloskie of White Hall, MD and Mary Jane “Sissy” Oxendine of Dundalk, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
