Vera M. Crandall

Wellsburg, NY Vera M. Crandall age 88, of Gillett, PA passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Bradford County Manor, Troy. PA following a lengthy illness. Vera was born May 8, 1919 in Corning, NY daughter of the late Levere and Katherine Stage Freeman. She was retired from Trayer Products and previously worked at Remington Rand. Vera enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, traveling and playing cards. Survivors include her son Fred Crandall of Gillett, PA, grandchildren, Todd Crandall of Ridgebury, PA, Tamera & Jerry Forbes of Redwood, NY, Kimberly Becker and John Becker both of Elmira, NY, sisters-in-law, Geraldine Freeman and Betty Freeman both of Gillett, PA, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. . Vera was predeceased by her parents, husband Elmo Crandall and daughter-in-law Phyllis Crandall, three sisters and four brothers. Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 3 PM Sunday, January 13, 2008 a t the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Services will be held at 3 PM following calling hours with Reverend James Carr officiating. Interment will be in Bradford County Memorial Park on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 1 PM.
