Vera I. (Case) Faulls

WILKES-BARRE- Vera I. Faulls, 97, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, a resident of Wesley Village, Jenkins Township, died Saturday morning at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Kingston on December 1, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ada (Sutliff) Case. Vera graduated from Coughlin High School and worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Walter Kistler for 16 years. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she was also a member of the Webster Class and was the last surviving member of the Ruth Group. Vera also volunteered for the Council of the Churches, Wilkes-Barre, and was a member of the Wyoming Valley Women's Club. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Richard "Dick" Faulls, a daughter, Lillian Daubert, a grandson, Scott Stephen Faulls, a great grandson, Tyler Thompson, 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving are two sons, F. Dixon Faulls and his wife Joanne, and Stephen R. Faulls, both of Newark, Delaware, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 1 great grand daughter, numerous nieces and nephews. Four nieces, Mary, Jane, Sandra, and Ana Mae were very special in all the love and care they gave to Vera. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, and Wilkes-Barre with her grandson, Reverend Dr. Gregory S. Faulls officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may attend a viewing from 10:00 A.M. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
